Throughout the course of the year, kindergartners explore the world around them through reading, writing and experiences. A digital camera will connect all of these aspects allowing students to become photographers. Being able to allow students to explore their skill set with the digital age will spark interest and help students find a love and appreciation for the art of photography. The goal is for students to feel empowered as authors and illustrators or in this case, as photographers. Students being able to connect their thoughts and writing to match the picture is a hard skill to teach at this level, and this will be a tool that will excite students to try writing!

About my class
