These materials will help make a difference in student learning by giving them a place that they can go to, at any time, to read or just have a few minutes of quiet or alone time. The book shelf in the room will allow me to display a wide, diverse set of of books for the students to choose and read. The rug will allow students to sit comfortably in the reading corner. The chair and the bean bag will also allow different seating options for the students. I believe this will promote literacy in a positive way for the students.
