My 5th Grade Students have been learning in a hybrid model for the past 9 weeks. With COVID-19 on the rise, our school has decided to go fully virtual from now until the end of January to protect teachers and students. As a Math teacher, I utilize my smartboard, worksheets, and hands-on manipulatives more than anything. My classroom has everything I need to teach my kids, but going virtual means I will be teaching from my apartment. Overall, learning Math online will be a challenge for my students since they will not be here with me. I am requesting a Document Camera to share worksheets and manipulatives with my students virtually. I am also requesting a small writing tablet to simulate a smart board for more organized lessons that can be saved and shared with my students while I teach from home.
