In our classroom, we strive to become life-long learners by delving into all forms for literature. We understand that reading exposes us to new vocabulary, increases comprehension, and helps to improve fluency, allowing us to become better readers. We have many reasons for using Time for Kids Magazine, including exposure to real-world news, as a tool for identifying author's purpose, cause and effect, and for exposure to current events pertinent to our environment. Unfortunately, our current copies are out of date. With the gift of the new editions, we will realize our goal of moving towards, and becoming life-long learning!
