This grade at this school has an empty classroom that consists of empty walls and chairs. I can use these supplies to fill the classroom and restore order to a grade that very much needs to succeed in order to be ready for high school next year. These supplies will enable me to help these students succeed and be ready to enter high school prepared to excel in science classes. I am a first time teacher taking over an 8th grade science class that was abandoned mid-year and left with no resources. I can decorate the walls and make the students feel welcomed into my classroom. I can use the printer to make projects easier and more accessible in a small school where there is not much coverage. I am not asking for much. These are the bare necessities that I can use to help these students get a grasp on 8th grade science and possibly save them from struggling in the future.
