Sometimes notebook paper just isn't big enough to show all your thought processes with mathematical applications in solving problems or completing mathematical computations. Sometimes you make a computational mistake that you just can't see. A MakerSpace will provide students with space to work and collaborate. Desks become whiteboards and yoga balls become chairs. Having a MakerSpace for math students that will allow collaboration and peer evaluation, which will help students better understand abstract math concepts. Providing students will appropriate learning space makes a positive impact on their learning. Students will be able to display their learning and evaluate their peers in a collaborative way. Individual desks in individual rows just don't work for students to collaborate through mathematical processes.
