The Spartan ROAR is our school motto, it encourages students to be Respectful, Organized, Attentive, and Responsible. The ROAR reading zone will be a classroom library for my students. I believe that adding a carpet will encourage students to read more by providing a comfortable area to sit at that is in close proximity to the book shelf. According to the class poll, 75 out of the 80 students in my classes would be more likely to read if they were provided with a comfortable area to sit at. The inviting reading environment will encourage them to read more often.
