I am looking to add more flexible seating options to my classroom for my students to use throughout the day. I have students who learn best when moving, which can be difficult in a traditional chair. Students would be able to use these seating options during lessons, independent activities and working with partners. Everyone learns best when their individual needs are met. The use of these flexible seating options will help my students reach their maximum potential, having the ability to maximize their learning while doing what helps focus. These would help eliminate fidgety behavior and students feeling the urge to get up out of their seats in order to get their energy out. The behavior impacts them in multiple ways and these new seating options would give them a choice in where they learn.
