Every student in my Moderate to Severe Autism class need additional support in communication and behavior. This iPad can help my nonverbal student communicate their need. It can also help students continue to develop social skills. Applications such as Proloquo can assist student with communication support. An iPad can also help implement evidence-based practice (EBP) such as positive reinforcement for student token boards and choice boards. Another EBP can be video modeling, with the use of an iPad students can learn appropriate behavior through a video. There are many ways a iPad can improve the education of all my students.
