Second graders love learning through hands on activities. Activities where they can touch the materials with their hands to create, explore, and learn makes the activity more engaging, stimulating, and productive. Our science learning covers how wind and water change the shape of the land. The best way to learn something is to do it yourself. With these kits the students will be able to work in partners to build landforms, streams, and ponds. Then they will be able to add water and wind and discover how these elements change the shape of the land. My students are amazing rockstars!
