For this project, I plan on having students analyze live data collected from the purple air sensor to understand atmospheric pollution and air quality. With California suffering from an alarming number of wildfires in recent years (and currently), this sensor can help connect the effects of these wildfires with the atmosphere. Once set up students will be able to access the data from home remote learning. In addition to providing data to the students, this sensor will also contribute data to the interactive purple air map which will provide the surrounding community with information about air quality as well.
