Basketball is one of those sports that our students love. They watch it at home or see older kids in the community play when the weather gets warmer. Most kids learn the correct form and skills related to basketball during their first few years in school. This is why we have planned to incorporate a basketball skill related unit to our curriculum. The students will be able to learn the correct way to dribble, pass, shoot, ball handling and cooperative skills that will help them play games in the future. Our students will also be able to share these skills with others during recess and throughout the community. I would love to have this project funded because my students are eager to learn these basketball skills and be able to dribble and shoot like many of their idols.
