My role as their social worker is to help the students identify emotions and develop coping and self regulation skills. With remote learning in place, I want to be able to give my students materials that they can utilize at home for social emotional learning. Teachers Pay Teachers is a great website that offers many resources for social emotional learning. With a gift card for Teachers Pay Teachers I will be able to purchase worksheets, SEL stories and other materials that I will use for session with my students. I am planning to use the dry erase pockets to give to students so that they will be able to follow along with me when completing an activity or worksheet. Lastly, I am hoping to create a calm down kit for each of my students to use when feeling emotionally out of control.
