The native speakers in my Spanish classes have begun a podcast called La Voz Latina de Baldwin County. We have spent a total of $30 to produce this podcast, but it is clear that we need to invest in equipment in order to produce a higher quality product that the students can feel proud of. By investing in this microphone, donors are empowering my students to create higher quality podcast stories because they will be proud of the product they have produced. Students also have to opportunity to learn skills that could be applied in multiple professional fields in the middle Georgia are. We aim to produce one episode every two to three weeks.
