The E6B flight calculator is one of many tools at the pilot's disposal to allow him or her to plan, predict, and judge his flight before he even takes off. The E6B for my students will allow them to work and solve aviation math problems so that they may plan and fly an actual simulated flight in our school simulator, thus seeing in real time how planning, science and mathematics all come together to make everyday life easier for us. The E6B calculators for my students will allow them to be ahead of the learning curve in flight training, having seen and used this tool prior to actual flight school.
