This project will offer an interactive, fun-learning experience while giving our students lifetime skills, incorporate role-playing, and forming good habits needed in the classroom and within their own home environment. The baking and cleaning tools/supplies donated will play a major role in teaching and providing meaningful activities that will empower our students to reach their potential. Students will learn to plan and prepare, organize, participate, share, manage time, problem-solve, take turns, collaborate, challenge themselves and learn the demands and expectations of any purposeful occupation or task. Providing our students these opportunities to practice and develop life skills will help increase their self-esteem and self-worth, sense of mastery, and promote independence.
