My students are six and seven years old. I am trying to effectively teach them that if they are organized, they will be more successful. This is a life skill that students are often not taught. I want to be able to model organization as well as teach it to them. The mailboxes will give them a sense of ownership in the classroom. Each student will have a mailbox and be responsible for retrieving mail on a daily basis before they go home. The seat sacs will help them keep organized at their tables. We do not have desks and often times materials are lost or scattered.
