These books will help my students to become readers. My students have a variety of interest and are very curious. Providing them with a variety of interesting, meaningful books at their reading level, will support as they become readers. My students will be able to choose a variety of text that are interesting to them throughout the day. I will be able to confer with my students about the books they read. Students will learn how to decode, read familiar words, and understand some of the elements of sentence structure. Students will be able to proceed from non readers to at least a C level reader by the end of the year.
