It doesn't take much to begin to transform a run-down gymnasium with limited resources into a gymnasium focused on providing 21st century physical education. One singular IPad will serve as a foundational piece to do just that. We'll be able move to video feedback with apps such as: -Coaches Eye -UberSense -BaM video delay Students will begin to reflect upon and apply to their next movement experience immediately. We'll be able to cut down on paper/pencil assessments with the opportunity to implement quicker assessments and seamlessly allow me to dissect the data in order to provide my students with valuable feedback -Plickers Outside of the beneficial assessment opportunities, it will unlock a host of new engaging movement opportunities for my students. Apps are being added daily such as QR laps (lap counter), PE Shake (warm-up exercises), and Sweat Deck (exercises on cards) just to name a few. In addition, this one IPad will start to provide the evidence needed to support a push for technological upgrades to our gymnasium (projector, more IPads, heart rate monitors, bluetooth speakers).
