The books that I'm trying to purchase are for my CLASSROOM LIBRARY. That means that the books are kept in the classroom at all times and are able to be used by all the students on a daily bases. These books are of interest to BOYS! While all the students will have the option to read them, these are books that will definitely CATCH THE ATTENTION of the boys. I'm trying to build our classroom library so that it optimizes the opportunity and the amount of time a child gets to read on a daily bases. The more you read the more you know. Not only are these books of interest to the boys, they are also on the reading level of my students. That means that they will be able to read these books with confidence and comprehension. These are very important things when wanting a child to CHOOSE to read. GROWING the LOVE OF READING in these children will benefit them in many different ways. The more capable of reading on grade level a student is, the more they are successful in their education. When a student is able to read on grade level, they are more confident in their reading ability. In return, they will enjoy reading more and CHOOSE to read in their free time and for enjoyment.
