Trying to teach a classroom of art students how to delicately cross-hatch or show the brilliant way oil pastels blend is a hard task. Demonstrating first hand always gives both my students and me the satisfaction that these artistic skills can be achieved. But making sure that every student gets to SEE the demonstration is extremely difficult. Recently, I was blessed with receiving a new smartboard, and a document camera will allow me to show students how to create their artwork clearly and effectively. Art is visual, and by donating to my project, you will help my students see clearly how to create their artwork. I can only imagine how incredibly excited every one of my 512 students will be to see up close how art is created - whether it's my demonstration piece or their finished project projected onto the smartboard.
