The materials requested will make a difference in my students' learning by providing materials for them to engage with while working independently. The puzzles and manipulatives will help the students practice and develop number sense that builds their foundation to be successful in math. Word work and ABC practice materials will help the students have hands on work with literacy skills that will set them up for reading success. Academic learning centers and manipulatives will help keep the Kindergarten students engaged with tasks that will help them build a foundation for success. As students can work more independently, I as the teacher can work with students in small groups or individually to meet specific learning needs.
