I am requesting materials that support the idea of flexible seating, such as the Bouncing Ball Supportive Seats and the Black Plastic Stools so that when children are participating in the lesson and begin to become anxious or fidgety, they are still able to be engaged. With this new way of seating for the students, they are able to expand on their learning while moving at the same time and still able to comprehend the information. Flexible spaces that surrounds a student helps to emphasize the idea of creative thinking and to engage the student in movement while learning. It is a proven fact that not only has flexible seating improved learning and student accomplishments, but flexible spaces help to create a calm, learning environment where the students can grow and move at the same time. Areas such as these provide a sense of control for the students as well. Because the material of the new seating will be durable, the impact of the seating will last for years and help to provide a quality of learning for all future students.
