The timer will help me display activites and increase the pacing, which will allow me to be walking around in the classroom, assisting my students, rather than being restricted to the overhead projector. All students need a timer available to pace their assignments, and currently they have to rely on mine, if each has their own, they will pace themselves They are limited English proficient, and as part of our state requirements they need to record themselves, so having a timer and resources to read and with visuals will provide them with the tools they need to practice in these skills.
