Organization is a big part of being successful! As a new teacher it is hard to walk into a blank classroom and fill it with supplies necessary to facilitate learning. Currently my students have books thrown in cubbies which can damage the books. I want my students to have personal bins to keep their notebooks and supplies in. Storage baskets and drawers are helpful so that students know where to find learning materials in the classroom. I have created more engaging math games for the students to practice their skills, however we need a spot to keep them! Also, pocket charts help with literacy center rotations to ensure students are meeting their weekly expectations.
