When my students saw the Wirk Ride Exercise Bike Work Station and Standing Desk and Deskcyle in another classroom, they asked me if I could get one too! I decided to create my first project for both devices to help physically activate my students while they are learning. My Tigers love to move! In my flexible seating classroom, I am always trying to add to the variety of seating that allows for student movement. A Wirk Ride Exercise Bike Workstation and Standing Desk would allow for non-distracting movement while providing a desk surface to facilitate learning. This seating option can be used in a standing or sitting position and the height can be adjusted for the varying heights of my students. With this option available in my classroom, my students who truly need to move while they learn would have a way to do so in a manner that is both appropriate and also promotes physical fitness. Thank you for considering my project.
