The variety of seating selections will bring excitement to our classroom that my students have been in for the last two years and will be in again for Third Grade. I am hoping that the seats will be easy to move and disinfect for the students to move around the class even when they have to be socially distant. The students can be grouped by size or the color of the seat, which can be fun and unpredictable. We can have first come, first choice of a seat which may improve students that may be habitually late. The students can also come up with creative ways to share the new exciting seating. The seats will be used for social-emotional sharing time.
