These books are for my classroom library. Students can check them out daily and keep them as long as they want. They will get to read them and love them. I pray that by providing my students with these books, they will feel seen. I want my students to learn and grow. I want them to LOVE reading. With these books, my students will find something that they love. They will find something to relate to. Black History is OUR history. Most of my students are Black. They deserve to see themselves in the books they read every day.
