Currently, my students do not have a lot of resources to tinker with. I would love to have some tinkering toys for the kids to do during indoor recess, or after breakfast to get some fine motor practice in. Not only would tinkering help my students' fine motor skills, but I believe it would also help my students build positive relationships with each other, and allow them to practice critical life skills like having a conversation, sharing, and problem solving. I have also included some art resources in my DonorsChoose project. I have so many students who absolutely love to draw and paint, and I want to be able to give them the opportunity to explore their creativity and imagination through art.
