Painting supplies will allow students to have the opportunity to be creative and experience success of finishing an art piece they can take home. Students are currently using paper and pencils to create art. Many students have never been able to paint nor have a canvas picture they can take home. This project will help motivate students to do their best academically so they can take part in the project. All students who would like to participate will have the chance. This will be a popular choice with a tangible product at the end. Before being sent home, students will have an art show to share their paintings with younger students and community members.
