The items for my preschool classroom are used by preschool classrooms all over the country because they work. When I was doing my student teaching I visited lots of preschool classrooms and observed the students and teachers using this materials. Some of the teachers I observed have been teaching for over 20 years in preschool. They showed me how to use this materials to teach our students.
When I got my own classroom I knew that it would take time for me to get all of the materials that my colleagues are using in their classrooms. I want to be able to offer my students the same opportunities to learn through play, to read this books, to explore and discover.
This is my 3rd year teaching and I am slowly building my repertoire of curriculum materials to teach social emotional development, language and literacy as well as math and science. I recently purchased a trampoline and a tunnel to add gross motor development opportunities in the classroom. My students loved this addition to the classroom and use them. I know they will also use the items I posted on this project.
