Have you ever taught a wet students? I mean, a student drenched in rain? Well, I have, and more than once. Let me tell you, donors, they don't pay close attention to what I say and what goes on in class. So why do they come to me wet? Because my classroom is on the campus of the University of New Orleans. Why is it on the UNO campus? Because we have outgrown our main campus and until we can either push the walls or build another building, then we have no choice. You can see the problem, right? Imagine the rain comes in suddenly. Buckets of rain! And your students were right under it before they get to you, during the five-minute walk between the two campuses. Or, the class is over, it starts pouring and you need to send your students back to the main campus for their next class. This is when the rain ponchos that I am dreaming to get come in. Ta da! I've selected disposable ponchos because they are more affordable, but we have reused the ones that we've had many many times. Thank you for considering!
