My students will be eager to read, answer questions, and join in class discussions knowing they get to speak in the microphone. The microphone will increase our time on task and student engagement. I envision all hands in the air as students will want to answer "interview style" in the microphone. I also want to see the microphone used to encourage accuracy and rate as students read aloud during class. The sound of engagement will be in the air as students join in-class discussions. A microphone will bring excitement and accountability to my students. We are looking forward to a microphone.
