The supplies that I am requesting for my classroom with give my students the hands on learning experience needed to be engaged in learning. The raised garden beds will allow my students the opportunity to grow and care for various vegetables and herbs. Students will be able to identify plant parts (edible and non edible), plant needs, functions of various plant parts, and be proud of the care and work that they will put into this class project. Agriculture is all about hands on learning and these garden bed supplies will give my students the opportunity of "doing to learn"!
