Learning through play is so important. It provides my kindergartners with an opportunity to learn and express themselves in an appropriate manner. Not only will these materials help them understand grade level standards like story elements and comparing texts, but they will also help students learn how to appropriately express their emotions and communicate with one another! These materials will help engage students and reinforce comprehension and retelling skills. I believe that is important to keep play in the classroom as it is a key factor in the way that young children learn. My students deserve to have this opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings in a positive and healthy way to make sense of the world around them. I know if my class receives these materials that they will be put to great use and will be loved!
