The children in my classroom are naturally curious and are very eager to learn. Science helps build their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. They learn how and what questions to ask while playing as they develop their scientific inquiry skills. As they develop their language skills, they learn how to generate ideas, make decisions, and use the evidence to understand things around them. During science and sensory play children are provided with the opportunity to expand their vocabulary as they observe and ask questions. The added science tools from this project will also help them learn how to form their own independent ideas and separate fact from fiction.
