Although this year will look different than most, one thing still remains the same: preschoolers with unique needs need a little extra help and support when learning the foundational skills they need succeed. By donating to this project you are helping to add a major learning station to our classroom that will be used consistently throughout each and every day. A Double Wide Teaching Easel will give a space for children to learn letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. With the magnetic ability of the board, there will always be space to hold different manipulatives while we learn. The size of this easel provides the necessary space to hold a "Big Book" while we read about different social emotional and academic skills. The portable aspect of this easel provides me the ability and flexibility to provide my children with the instruction and support they need when (and where) they need it. The opportunities are endless. Due to the current health and safety situation, if we are directed to return to digital/remote learning at any point throughout the year, this easel will be essential to my ability to provide my children with high quality remote instruction.
