A language is fun to learn through songs, kits, conversations, and youtube subtitled clips. Of course, one cannot escape learning grammar, vocabulary, and syntax. An important part of my class is to learn about the culture of different Hispanic countries. My students research the Spanish speaking country of their choice -- it can be about the population, geography/landscape/climate, food, music, famous people -- my students have the choice. The activity culminates in the making of poster boards for the entire school to see. The boards have to be attractive, this is why I am requesting the boards, scrap-booking scissors, colorful card-stock, pens and an electric sharpener. Thank you for your consideration.
