My class is requesting a common classroom computer that my students can use to scientific code and research STEM experiments. Our class is in need of new technology to start this upcoming school year. Our school district is stating that our school is obligated to promote technological experiences for all of the students. Yet, I've found it pretty hard to complete an assignment that requires research or computer coding if we do not have any technology to use daily. This computer will help my students become more computer literate and learn a different form of computer websites. There are no funds in the school budget to consider purchasing laptops. The goal of this project is to ensure that all of my students are given a fair opportunity to research scientific topics and actually get an opportunity to experience more coding projects.
