Please consider helping me by funding my Ipad Pro project. I am a high school math teacher who is struggling to teach her students virtually. Often, my students sit focused on my lecture, prepared to ask questions before beginning their lesson whether it be in classroom or virtual. It is difficult to know which students are struggling while I am at the head of the room much less when they are in their own home.
With the Ipad Pro, I would be able to have more engaging, meaningful moments during virtual learning! To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I could use an Ipad Pro to work out step by step problems by projecting them for the students to watch during google meets. During the google meet, they will hear my voice but see me working through the problem. In the classroom, this allows me the freedom walk around the room while projecting the problem on the Promethium through activcast. My students will be less disruptive with me among them and more likely to ask for assistance. This technology would enable me to change up my teaching techique by allowing more personal attention to individual students who are already behind due to this pandemic. In a world full of tecnology, this equipment allows students the convience and desire to learn in the confines of their home.
