Students love to move around the classroom and work comfortably. My students are more engaged and creative when they move away from their desks. Currently I just have bare hardwood floor in my classroom and would love to give my students comfortable flexible seating for them to move to their creative space instead of sitting on the floor. The floor carpet will be used in the front of our room for class meetings, and lessons. We all gather together in the front for our reading and writing lessons. The portable lap desk will be for students who want to work independently on the floor but there is no room on the carpet. The supplies will be rotated between all students.
