We use a projector many times throughout each day. Sometimes with a document camera for guided learning or to display student work. Also, we use our projector to help students discover the world through educational videos and internet content. Third grade is an important year in elementary school because our students make a giant leap from 2nd grade. My students need to prepare for the MCAS and must learn to become more confident and determine writers. In order for this to happen there is a great deal modeling done by me with the projector. Our current projector had a long and productive life but after a slow decline, finally made a graceful exit.
