The iPads I am requesting will enable our students to experience communication in a more engaging and motivating way. Our students range in ability from being non-verbal and in need of communication boards and basic language apps to those who are working on increasing their vocabulary and improving their grammar. Through language therapy, these iPads will help meet the many challenges of providing therapy on a limited budget. In today's fast-paced, technology-driven world, even students from lower-income backgrounds need and deserve access to the best technology resources. This project will help grant our students this access, at least during their small group therapy sessions. Many apps and tools available on the iPad are evidence based for use in therapy and will enhance the quality of service provided to our students. Your help towards making this project a reality is much appreciated.
