Currently, my students are placing their leveled books for reading in a baggie. Their reading folder and journal is kept in their desk. When it is reading time, the kids have a hard time easily finding their folders and journals since their other folders and journals are in their desks as well. These book bins will allow more learning time and less hassle! Book bins will also make it easier for students to carry all of their reading supplies to the back table or their reading spots on the carpet. It will also make it easier for me to find their work as well since it's all kept in one place! We need to organize to maximize our reading learning experience! Along with book bins, we would like to have our community supplies available out on our desks. This makes getting to work much more efficient when we can have glue sticks, sticky notes, sentence stem cards, and pencils at the ready!
