My fifth grade students are cramped in a room built over 50 years ago in the days of smaller class sizes. My 20' x 30' room barely fits my 21 students and their 2' x 3' desks. Gone are the thick textbooks and binders full of worksheets. We are blessed to have a class set of Chromebooks, which has revolutionized our learning! We no longer need gigantic desks with cubby space for a students books & supplies. My students more room to move and less room for stuff! The desks we have are over 15 years old, and the wear and tear they show is becoming a problem. Help my students have a clean, organized place to work!
