As the middle and high school social studies teacher l, I use geography in my lessons every day. We look at different regions across the world as they relate to economics, government, wars, conflicts, culture, trade, physical and political features, and early civilizations. The more geographic resources in the classroom the better. Students often use their phones to look up facts about a certain place, but if you asked them, they can't locate the place on a map. The map of the world I am asking allows the teacher or student to draw on the map, labeling trade patterns or explorations. The ten white erase boards of the world can be a great assessment tool in the classroom. There was a time when there was a globe in every history classroom and I would like to continue that having that resource available to students.
