We would like to provide an experience for our students that many have never had. A local resort donated the resources to allow our grade level a fishing adventure for the day. Many of our students have never been given the chance to catch a fish and our hope is that it stays with them forever. The majority of our students are in the free and reduced lunch program and would prefer it to be a low to no cost experience for them. This experience will provide them a hands-on science encounter. They are provided a boat ride of one of our area's largest lakes and placed in a spot that offers pan fish for many to catch and release.
