My 1st grade students will use these learning games to meet their goals in reading and math. This project will help my students master the skills needed to read fluently plus math to add and subtract. The resources I chose will allow me to set up activity centers where students can have fun while learning. Students will transition from one learning station to the next during small group time. The activities centers will be specific to the content we are covering each week. My students need other ways to learn phonics and math skills. Currently, they are using worksheets which are not as engaging as the learning games I selected. The learning items I choose will be an added asset to my classroom resources.
