Most of my high school students have only used color pencils or crayons up to this point, so for them to learn how to use paints to express themselves will be very exciting. They will quickly realize that painting can also be very therapeutic as well. Just like Jackson Pollock ,they will learn to let go and enjoy the process of painting. As with Clay, it too will be a great sensory experience as they work it and build their sculptures. I truly believe the students will get a healthy sense of confidence and pride as they produce their own master pieces with these new mediums.

About my class
