Technology is the KEY right now to keep my students learning at home and at school! Using programs like BrainPOP and Flocabulary will not only keep my kiddos engaged in learning, but they will also have fun!
Using programs like BrainPOP and Flocabulary will help to keep these kids active, smiling, and most importantly - learning!
One day you might hear some screeches and and cheers from them playing some "simple machines" interactive follow-up game on BrainPOP. Another day, they might be sharing some "Did You Know" facts about "tornadoes" with their grandma or mom after reading the "extended articles" on BrainPOP. On another day, you will likely see them singing and dancing to a new rap Flocabulary video that will help them learn what "character point of view" is. Those Flocabulary raps are catchy!!
Engaging videos, digital quizzes, vocabulary enrichment, and extended articles are just some of the activities these programs can provide for these kiddos. The combination of both of these programs help to provide some at home and in school fun and more importantly-variety to all my students. As most of you may have heard or agree, "Variety IS the spice of life!"
